Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information CosNFX collects on cosnfx.app and cosnfx.store, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain because we collect as little as we can.

Who we are

CosNFX ("we", "us") is a small, independent maker of apps and interactive electronics, based in California, USA. We sell physical products through this website. For any privacy question, email cosNFX@jonathancapone.com.

What we collect

When you place an order, we collect the information needed to process and ship it:

Contact & shipping details — your name, email address, and shipping address.
Order details — the items you bought, quantities, and amount paid.

Your payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe collects it directly on its secure checkout and shares only confirmation and the details above back with us.

Your shopping cart is stored in your browser's local storage on your own device; it is not sent to us until you start checkout.

When you join a product waitlist, we collect the email address you submit and any campaign information included with that form.

We also collect limited, anonymous website activity: page views, clicks to Google Play, clicks between our two sites, successful waitlist submissions, checkout starts, referring website domain, and campaign tags such as utm_source. This measurement does not include your email, full IP address, device fingerprint, advertising identifier, or a persistent visitor ID.

How we use it

To process, fulfill, and ship your order, and to send order-related email.
To respond to your questions and provide customer support.
To send product-availability news you asked for when joining a waitlist.
To understand which pages, calls to action, and marketing channels are useful.
To handle returns, refunds, and warranty issues.
To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

We share your information only with the partners needed to complete your order:

Stripe — to process payments. See Stripe's privacy policy.
Formspree — to receive and deliver product-waitlist submissions. See Formspree's privacy policy.
Fulfillment & shipping partners — some items ship directly from our manufacturing or supply partners. We pass them your name and shipping address so they can pack and ship your order. Some of these partners are located outside your country.
Authorities — if required by law, or to protect our rights.

Because we use partners in different countries (including the United States), your information may be processed internationally.

Cookies & tracking

Our sites do not run third-party advertising trackers. We use a small first-party measurement script that sends the anonymous events described above to our own server. It uses no analytics cookie and creates no persistent visitor profile. Campaign tags may be kept in your browser's session storage until you close the tab so a click later in the same visit can retain its source. Stripe's checkout uses its own cookies for security and fraud prevention.

Retention

We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill the order and to meet tax, accounting, and legal requirements, then delete or anonymize them. We keep waitlist details until the relevant product news has been sent or you ask us to remove them. Anonymous marketing events are retained only as long as they remain useful for measuring site performance.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example California under the CCPA/CPRA, or the UK/EU under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to certain uses. To exercise any of these, email cosNFX@jonathancapone.com and we'll respond within the time the law requires. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Our store is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
