Terms of Service

These terms apply when you buy products from the CosNFX store at cosnfx.app. By placing an order, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Shipping & Returns policy.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to place an order. By ordering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you're authorized to use the payment method.

Products & pricing

We try to describe and picture our products accurately, but small variations can occur and product images are illustrative. Prices are listed in US dollars (USD) and may change at any time before you order. If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even after it's placed.

Orders & payment

Your order is an offer to buy. We may accept it, or decline or cancel it — for example if an item is out of stock, the price was wrong, or we suspect fraud — and we'll refund any amount charged. Payment is processed by Stripe; by checking out you authorize the charge shown at checkout. Your purchase is also subject to Stripe's terms.

Shipping & returns

Shipping times, destinations, returns, and refunds are described in our Shipping & Returns policy, which forms part of these terms. Some items ship directly from our supply partners and may take longer to arrive; estimated times are shown at or before checkout.

Product use & safety

Many of our products are electronics — LED lighting, controllers, power packs, fog modules, and similar gear. You are responsible for using them safely and lawfully:

• Follow any included instructions and the manufacturer's specifications (voltage, current, fluids, batteries).
• These are hobby and costume products, not certified safety, medical, or industrial equipment.
• Keep them away from children, and use appropriate care with heat, electricity, batteries, and fog fluid.

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for damage or injury resulting from misuse, modification, or unsafe operation of a product.

Intellectual property

The CosNFX name, logo, site design, text, and graphics are owned by CosNFX and may not be copied or used without permission. Buying a product does not transfer any of these rights to you.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Except where prohibited by law, products are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CosNFX's total liability for any claim relating to a product or order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California — except where your local consumer law gives you a non-waivable right to a different venue.
